DNN

DNN

DotNetNuke (DNN) is an open source modular content management system written in ASP.NET. It is designed to be adaptable to various types of businesses by using modules. It’s functionality can be extended through modules obtained from the DNN Store (store.dnnsoftware.com) or by creating modules to meet business requirements through .NET Web application projects, creation of dynamic modules using Web site projects or by using the Razor modules.

DNN provides a basic framework for user management, social media integration, content management, site administration, module management, to name but a few. Web pages have skins which define regions of a page and pages and modules can inherit or can have custom access permissions set that define which groups of users can view or edit each item.

The Marble & Granite Centre Ltd.

P92 created custom DNN modules to showcase the marble, granite and other stone products on the product information website of our client, The Marble & Granite Centre Ltd, one of the largest marble supply companies in the UK.

For this project, both Bootstrap and Foundation 5 have been used to define custom style for the pages. Also, a scheduler task is used to allow for regular stock updates and to display up to date information across the website. The solution also contains pages where the end user can browse and filter the product list and check the product details page.
